I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…scales are dumb! So how can you measure your success?
I do typically weigh myself once a week, but it’s for a general trend. Of course I prefer it to go down each week, but I don’t let it bother me if it does. There is too much going on besides your progress with scale weight!
I also go into the Upper Fix Extreme workout. The workouts will likely be the focus of my videos for week 3, as I’ll have done them a few times. But you get a little in this one.
Here’s the pic I posted on my Facebook page of what I ate today. This is fairly standard, other than dinner. I changed it up today so we could have some Brussels sprouts. Usually, it’s the turkey over a raw vegetable(s) with one of the 21 Day Fix dressings.
I wrote before about eating out on the 21 Day Fix and much of that still holds true, even for the 21 Day Fix Extreme. Here are a few extra tips!
You CAN do this, stick to your plan and enjoy yourself. It’s okay! On the Extreme version, it is a bit more difficult (no wine! no chocolate!) but for 3 weeks, you can do this.
My video yesterday wasn’t as upbeat as usual, and my day kind of tumbled, but I held to my eating plans. I didn’t have my typical schedule of some me time before bed and the 4am wakeup to workout though. My daughter ended up sleeping in my bed (a rare occurrence because it seems no one sleeps well!) so it was to bed with her and up with her. I got some extra time today at her naptime (see us not sleeping well!) and did my 21 Day Fix Extreme Yoga Fix workout (we tried to do it together, but my daughter got sick of it after about 10 minutes), had my Shakeology and studied a bit…then I had time for some relaxing and video making! About 5 minutes later, I heard “mommy”…excellent timing!
Still going strong, but it’s not as easy as yesterday!

And remember…it’s all about showing love to yourself! I know that I talk about fitness, nutrition and weight loss, but it’s really about fueling your healthiest self. The weight loss is a side product of creating healthy habits.
Day 3 of the 21 Day Fix Extreme and I’m feeling fine! Better than fine! I am adjusting to my lower bracket…actually, I’ve barely noticed the change. I feel good, I feel satisfied, and I guess I had nothing to worry about!

I did a video most days on my first round through the original 21 Day Fix, so I figured I would continue with the Extreme version as well! Here we go with what differences I’ll need to incorporate and how I feel about that…enjoy!
I started the 21 Day Fix Extreme today! It showed up this afternoon and I had already been following it (my typical day didn’t need to change too much nutrition-wise) so I did the workout this evening and called it day 1! No day like today.
