Still going strong with the 21 Day Fix! The workouts are fun, challenging, but not scary hard…yoga was today and as I mentioned in the video, I’m picky with yoga! But I really enjoyed it. And another day of a great amount of food! It really has been helping me to make good choices and fill up on the healthy stuff instead of grazing on poorer choices. I had become so used to eating for convenience! This is so much better.
Hope you are having a great day!
Yesterday, I was trying to figure out a good way to log my 21 Day Fix containers on my phone and came up with this…using my to-do app for my food!
The app Awesome Note has folders to organize your lists. So I made one for the 21 Day Fix and put my containers in there, set to repeat each day so I don’t need to put them in every day. Then I just check them off as I eat them! Easy 🙂
Today’s workout was Dirty 30, a mix of cardio and strength, mostly together in each move. Tough, and a great workout. It recommends two sets of weights, but I used 3. They use light and heavy, but I used medium on one exercise. Light would have still been a challenge though! I’m excited for Yoga Fix tomorrow…you know I love my yoga!
In other news, we had a busy morning with baby Zumba, Gymboree and introducing the baby to some reptiles. It was the first time for baby Zumba and it was a lot of fun! I think we’ll go more often. Gymboree is okay, but I just don’t feel like there’s much playing together. At baby Zumba, they danced together and were more in a group. Fun stuff!
Who’s off tomorrow? I’m definitely glad to have the long weekend this week!
I chose a shower over making a video today. Sorry 🙂 It was worth it!
I can still report on day 5 though. I did the Total Body Cardio Fix workout because I did Cardio Fix Tuesday. I really liked it, and was glad that Autumn mentioned that the first exercise was the hardest of the workout because it was tough! I also did my first treats today…I’m about to have a glass of wine! I am looking forward to it.
I made a great dinner also. Cucumbers and tomatoes with hummus and salmon over spinach…delicious and filling! I have been having my blue container earlier in the day, but this was really good for dinner.
I still haven’t had much of a hunger issue. It is amazing how much food you can fit into a day when you make good choices! Whether I continue on for another round of the 21 Day Fix or I decide to change up the nutrition after, I think I’m (re)learning good habits, which has been my goal all along. Already, I am being a less lazy meal preparer and enjoying the results of my slightly extra effort. I think it has seemed like a lot more work than it has been!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Did you celebrate? We decided to go out to dinner, but I still managed to stay within my 21 Day Fix container count!

Along with what I feel about the value of the 21 Day Fix!
Here’s a video from lunch time! I did the Cardio Fix workout this morning. It was challenging without being too hard. I wasn’t starving, just pleasantly satisfied all day…a perfect amount of food!

The resistance band is a part of the Ultimate kit, not the Base like I mention in the video! Want to preorder? This has flown off the shelf and is set to start shipping again soon! I’m starting today.
When I found a bunch of Shakeology the other day, some was Greenberry. I take that back. A good amount was greenberry! So I went searching for some Greenberry recipes to try. I really like the chocolate Shakeology balls because they’re quick to make and a good bite size snack. So I made Greenberry ones! I think I may tweak them a bit next time. They were good, but a little sweeter than I’d love. Here is what i did this time…
Greenberry Shakeology Balls
1 packet Greenberry Shakeology
1/2 cup oats
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1/3 cup ground flaxseeds
1/3 cup natural peanut butter
1/3 cup natural honey
Add all ingredients to bowl and mix well. I made 15 balls that were a good size (similar to the size of my chocolate ones that make 12 in the recipe). Freeze and enjoy!
